ANNANDALE 2000 GIRLS
DEVELOPMENTAL
TRAVEL SOCCER PROGRAM
For Girls Born On or After August 1, 2000
The 2000 Girls Developmental Soccer Program is actively seeking players for the fall, 2010 season. The program is dedicated to providing each player with the long term player development foundation required to successfully play at progressively higher levels.
COMMITMENT
ABGC travel teams practice two evenings a week during the fall and spring seasons. The teams also practice in August and March to prepare for the coming fall and spring seasons. ABGC players also attend a skills session once a week.
ABGC 2000 teams host and play in a fund raising scrimmagefest, play in two tournaments and play in nine league games each fall and spring season to acquire the game experience required to learn to play well. For fun, the girls also play sand soccer in the summer and FIFA's 5-a-side indoor soccer game in the winter.
GOALKEEPER CLASSES
ABGC offers goalkeeper classes, by a former Olympic Medalist and Ajax goalkeeper, for all players who from time to time play goalkeeper for their team. Goalkeeping classes are on Saturday mornings. Classes are between 5 and 7 students. Private instruction is also available.
